MANGALURU:
The Customs department officers at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Tuesday seized 242 grams of gold powder from a passenger. The gold powder seized is valued at approximately Rs 14.50 lakh, officials said.
According to information, the illicit substance was ingeniously concealed between the two layers of four blue-colored carbon-thick paper sheets inside a carton box. “Further investigation is in progress,” they added. (ANI)
