Bengaluru: Bringing down the curtain on weeks of suspense and intense competition, actor Gillie emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada 12 during the grand finale held on Sunday night. Rakshita secured the runner-up position, while Ashwini Gowda finished as the second runner-up.
As the champion of Season 12, Gillie walked away with a ₹50 lakh cash prize along with a Maruti Suzuki Victory car, marking one of the most rewarding finales in the show’s history.
Season 12 turned out to be one of the most talked-about editions of Bigg Boss Kannada, drawing unprecedented audience engagement and fan participation. Among all contestants, Gillie received overwhelming public support, widely regarded as unmatched in previous seasons, cementing his position as a clear fan favourite.
Ashwini Gowda, who finished as second runner-up, received a cash prize of ₹14 lakh, while Kavya, who exited as the fourth finalist, was awarded ₹10 lakh.
A total of 24 contestants entered the Bigg Boss house this season, with six finalists making it to the grand finale. The finalists included Gillie, Rakshita, Ashwini Gowda, Mutant Raghu, Kavya Shaiva, and Dhanush.
