Forest Minister Anand Singh infected with Covid
BENGALURU:
Forest Minister Anand Singh has become the second Karnataka minister to be infected with the coronavirus. Earlier, Tourism Minister CT Ravi had tested Covid-positive.
Singh, who is MLA from Hospet and Ballari district in- charge minister, is in isolation at his residence as he is asymptomatic.
As per sources, the minister was tested on Friday and the positive result came on Saturday night.
“The minister is being treated at his home. He is healthy,” said a Ballari district official. Earlier, Singh’s driver had tested positive.Â
The primary and secondary contacts of minister are being traced, said an official.
