Highway Horror: Five Members of Family Die in Car Crash Near Kanipakam Thotapalli
BENGALURU : A tragic incident occurred on Monday when a family of five lost their lives in a car accident on the national highway near Kanipakam Thotapalli in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The car collided with the rear of a container truck, resulting in the complete destruction of the car’s roof.
The family had been returning to Bengaluru from Tirupati after a visit to the Balaji temple when the accident took place. The victims included two men, two women, and a child, although their identities have not yet been confirmed.
Authorities from the Pakala police department responded to the scene, using cranes to clear the wreckage of the car. The bodies were then transported to a hospital for post-mortem examinations. The Pakala police have initiated an investigation and filed a case regarding the incident.
