Fire on Wheels: 25 Passengers Safe After Bus Fire on Bangalore-Mangalore Highway
BENGALURU/MANDYA: A harrowing incident unfolded on the Bangalore-Mangalore highway near Kadabahalli in Nagamangala taluk when a private travel bus suddenly caught fire.
The alarming event took place at around 5 am today, as flames engulfed the bus with 25 passengers on board. Fortunately, all passengers were able to escape unscathed.
The quick actions of the driver and conductor played a crucial role in ensuring the safe evacuation of all passengers as soon as the fire was noticed. The bus was completely destroyed by the fire, leaving nothing but ashes in its wake.
Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the flames. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, with the Bindiganavile police station overseeing the case.
