Karnataka Information Commission Imposes Hefty Fines on Bengaluru Development Authority Officials
Those who had built structures before Shivaram Karanth Layout was notified can submit documents till Sept 30
BENGALURU:
In view of the public demand to extend the date for receipt of applications at the help desks at Mediagrahara and Somashettyhalli of Dr Shivaram Karanth Layout and the help desk at the BDA, the date has been extended to September 30.
The notification is with reference to people who had built structures before the layout was notified. The last day for receiving documents has been extended, considering that many people owning such structures are yet to register themselves.
Properties before 03-8-2018
By its verdict, the Supreme Court had given had formed the Justice AV Chandrashekhar committee to collect documents of properties built before 03-8-2018.
According to a press release issued by the Justice AV Chandrashekar committee, no further extension will be provided.
