Deadline for Karnataka CET application extended to July 16

BENGALURU:

The last date for submitting online applications for CET-2021 has been extended to July 16, DyCM Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, who also holds the Higher Education portfolio, stated on Friday.

Students who have not yet registered for CET-2021 can apply online till July 16 and can pay the fees till July 19 to be able to take the test for admission to various professional courses for 2021. Narayan said the extension was granted following requests by many students and parents.

Special category rules

Candidates who have claimed special category reservation in CET-2021 while submitting the online application form (NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-Defence, Scouts & Guides, etc) should submit their special category certificates in person at any one of the specified centres convenient to them. Details of the submission centres are mentioned on the KEA website along with the CET schedule. These candidates have to submit the relevant special category certificates on the notified dates only, Narayan added.
