400 gm of methaqualone pills were hidden in leather bag
BENGALURU:
Customs officials have seized drugs hidden inside a leather bag at Kempegowda International Airport’s courier centre.
The sleuths recovered 400 grams of methaqualone pills, worth Rs 20 lakh, hidden in the bottom of the leather bag.
The customs department tweeted, “Customs at KIAL Courier Centre detected 400 gm of methaqualone (Rs 20 lakhs approx) concealed in a leather bag, consigned to a Nigerian, who was already arrested in a recent case of 1.988 kg of Ecstacy pills seized at the same centre.”
