BENGALURU:
After the first COVID19 death reported in Kalburgi, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa chaired an emergency meeting of officials on Friday afternoon.
The meeting was attended by deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, Govind Karjol, Health Minister B Sriramulu, medical education minister Dr K Sudhakar, chief secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar and officials from health department.
Yediyurappa checked the preparedness to tackle Covid-19 pandemic. “The govt is fully seized of the matter and taking all possible steps to protect citizens,” tweeted Captain Manivannan, Commissioner for information and public relations department.
