Covid robs school children of their picnics

BENGALURU:

Not only has this academic year gone for a toss for school-going students, the Covid epidemic has even taken the joy out of schooling in the coming session.

The Karnataka government has now cancelled all types of school tours and picnics during the ensuing academic year.

The Education Department has issued the order ‘until further notice’, apparently keeping in mind the safety of school children.
