Covid lessons from masked railway mannequins!

To spread the message of corona-preventive measures, South Western Railway has put masks on the mannequins displayed in a narrow-gauge coach at the Rail Museum here.

The museum was recently dedicated to the nation via videolink by Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal in the presence of Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi and Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi.

The coach symbolises ‘Unity in Diversity’ with lifesize replicas of passengers from various parts of the country. The masks are a novel addition to remind citizens of the importance of wearing masks and social distancing during the prevailing pandemic.
