Bengaluru: Officials from the Karnataka Health Department reported on Friday that a nine-month-old boy has tested positive for COVID-19 in Bengaluru.
The child received a positive result from a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on May 22.
“The patient is currently stable and has been admitted to Vani Vilas Hospital in Kalasipalya, Bengaluru,” stated a health official.
Sources within the health department revealed that the child hails from Hoskote in the Bengaluru Rural district. He was initially admitted to a private hospital before being transferred to Vani Vilas Hospital for specialized care.
