Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said that henceforth the curricula of schools and colleges in the state would include lessons on the coronavirus. He said the Education Department was already working on this. He urged doctors and nurses to welcome Covid patients ‘with a smile’.
The minister was speaking to the media after the inauguration of outpatient and emergency units at the district government hospital, constructed at a cost of Rs 70 lakh.
Trials with plasma treatment at Victoria Hospital and KIMS Hospital in Hubballi have been successful, and the government has appointed a panel of doctors to expand the treatment in all hospitals across the state, Suresh Kumar said.
