COVID-19 Claims Life of 84-Year-Old Man with Significant Comorbidities in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: An 84-year-old man with significant comorbidities has passed away in Bengaluru, with health officials confirming that his COVID-19 test results returned positive on Saturday.

The individual was admitted to a private hospital in Whitefield, Bengaluru, on May 13 and unfortunately succumbed to his condition on May 17. The positive results from his COVID-19 test, conducted while he was still alive, were reported on Saturday.

According to the health department, the state has recorded a total of 38 new COVID-19 cases, with 32 of those occurring in Bengaluru.
