BENGALURU:
Now, Karnataka has its own ‘Corona Watch’ mobile app that shows the spots visited by corona +ve patients before detection, with the date/time of their visit to a particular spot.
The app has been developed by Munish Moudgil ( IAS), Secretary, Administrative Reforms, and in-charge, Covid-19 War Room, and his team. Moudgil is a B.Tech from IIT-Bombay and had played a key role in developing the survey/land records app ‘Dishaank’.
The ‘Corona Warch’ app also has a list of government-designed ‘first response’ hospitals for those with Covid-19 symptoms.
The app can be downloaded from https://karnataka.gov.in.
In a note, Moudgil has advised that before going to a Covid-designated hospital, persons can call the Covid helpline 104, or 08046848600 or 08066692000.
