No more hand-stamping of positive cases and primary contacts
BENGALURU:
The state government has issued revised guidelines on containment zones, which reduce the surveillance period from 28 to 14 days.
Under the new guidelines, the surrounding area will not be barricaded if there is a single corona case inan apartment or independent house. But there should be special surveillance in the buffer zone and the containment zone.
If a positive case is found in an apartment /house, that floor/house alone will be a containment zone.
Also, there will be no more hand-stamping of positive cases and primary contacts.
