BJP ex-MLA Muniraju woos him into saffron fold

Pandemic or not, Karnataka continues to have its share of political drama. On Sunday, a sitting Congress corporator’s husband ‘betrayed’ his spouse and her party by joining the BJP.
Former BJP MLA S Muniraju was instrumental in the ‘defection’ of the spouse of Lalitha Thimmananjaiah, corporator of Peenya Industrial Area ward in the T Dasarahalli assembly constituency.
An ‘induction’ ceremony for the newly saffronised husband was held in Bagalagunte.
S Muniraju and other BJP party leaders Lokesh, Narasimha Murthy, CM Nagaraju and Umadevi were present in the occasion.
