Bommai’s engagements in Delhi will include meeting Union Finance Minister and BJP top brass

Coming on the heels of the Union budget, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is preparing to present the state budget next month. In this connection, the Chief Minister is set to hold a meeting with MPs from the state in New Delhi on Monday to discuss various projects and programmes.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday, he said, “I will also meet the legal counsel who are representing the state in inter-state water disputes. A few important decisions will be taken on the future course of action. I have sought an appointment with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. I intend to discuss the state budget, the state’s financial condition, GST and other issues.”
Bommai added that he had sought an appointment with the BJP top brass while in the national capital.
