In quarantine, can’t see her child

Belagavi:

Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa attempted a morale-boosting talk with Belagavi-based staff nurse Sunanda, who has not been able to see her three-year-old child since a fortnight. Sunanda is currently under quarantine at a hotel in the city after seven Covid-19 cases were reported recently.

In a 21-second phone call, the CM praised her dedication towards her work. (Listen to attached clip).

The CM said: “You are working very hard. I saw it on TV, please continue. You have a good future ahead, I will take care. God will also take care.”

Sunanda Korikoppa has been working as a staff nurse at BIMS in Belagavi for the past 4 years. It is said that she hasn’t gone home since the past 15 days. With other staff nurses, she is under quarantine.
