BENGALURU:

The city police commissioner’s office has been sealed for 3 days after a staffer on duty there tested positive for Covid-19.

So far, more than 92 policemen have been infected, 15 police stations have been sealed, and 870 personnel quarantined.

Exercising caution, the police are now keeping only those involved in major crimes in the lock-up of police stations.

Recently, out of 4 persons arrested and detained by the CCB for allegedly cheating cab aggregator Ola, one tested positive. As a result, the CCB office was temporarily sealed.
