BENGALURU:
In a communiqué, Bangalore Archbishop Peter Machado has asked for the pealing of bells in all churches and chapels in the city for a few minutes at 5 pm on Sunday, March 22.
This is in response to the PM’s request to citizens to clap for a few minutes at 5 pm on Sunday in appreciation of the selfless work of various service segments at a time when the coronavirus is threatening the entire country.
