Chikkamagalur | Sexual assault on residential school girls, three arrested
BENGALURU/CHIKKAMAGALUR:
Three individuals, including a woman, have been apprehended for their involvement in the assault of students at a residential school within the Kadur police jurisdiction.
The suspects have been identified as Suresh, an employee in a lower-ranking position at the residential school, nurse Chandana, and her boyfriend Vinay.
According to reliable police sources, Suresh would entice some of the girls from the residential school by falsely promising them admission into para-nursing courses. He would manipulate them into believing that passing the exam would secure them lucrative job opportunities. Subsequently, he would hand them over to Chandana, who would then accommodate them at the primary health centre.
Once under Chandana’s care, the nurse would surreptitiously administer beverages laced with intoxicants to the unsuspecting girls. In their semi-conscious state, Vinay, Chandana’s boyfriend, would then perpetrate the assaults. Shockingly, this heinous cycle of abuse has persisted for several months, as revealed by the ongoing investigation.
