Chandra Layout | Muslim Youths Arrested for Moral Policing Incident in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: Five individuals, including a minor, have been arrested by the Chandra Layout police in connection with a moral policing incident that occurred in the area. The arrested suspects have been identified as Maheem, Afridi, Waseem, Anjum, and a minor.
The incident, which involved Muslim youths harassing and assaulting a Hindu youth and a Muslim girl, gained attention after a video of the altercation went viral on social media.

In the video, the girl can be seen sitting on a two-wheeler facing her friend when the group of youths approached them, using abusive language and physically assaulting her friend. The youths questioned the girl’s presence there instead of being in college and demanded her parents’ contact number. One of the individuals was even seen holding a bat while speaking to the Hindu youth.
Despite the girl’s attempts to defend herself and protect her friend, the group did not allow them to speak. One of the youths recorded and shared a video of the incident online. Authorities are currently investigating the matter to ensure justice is served.
