Tulu to Become Additional Official Language in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada; Mangaluru Cabinet Clears ₹32,611-Crore Development Push
Bengaluru: The Karnataka cabinet on Thursday, November 5, approved a comprehensive action plan of Rs 28.01 crore for information, education and communication (IEC) activities under the National Health Mission, according to the cabinet decision notes.
The notes say IEC activities are needed to implement state and national health programmes successfully and take them to the people. They say the plan is to reach people through various media and be implemented under the Information and Public Relations Department’s advertisement policy of 2013.
