BENGALURU:
Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party’s core committee will meet on Monday evening to discuss the probable names which could be recommended as members for the Legislative Council.
The meet will be held at BJP’s party office, headed by the party president Nalin Kumar Kateel which will also be attended by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.
Party leaders will shortlist the nominees to fill the vacancies to the Legislative Council. The shortlisted list will be sent to party high command.
Karnataka legislative council, now has 12 vacancies, elections will be held for seven while remaining five seats can be filled by the state government through nominations.
