BJP releases 2nd list of 72 candidates
New Delhi: The ruling BJP on Wednesday released the second list of 72 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The saffron party had on March 2 released the first list of 195 candidates.
The second list of BJP candidates include one candidate from Dadra & Nagar Haveli and two candidates from Delhi.
Seven candidates are from Gujarat while six candidates, including former chief minsiter Manohar Lal Khattar are from Haryana.
20 candidates each from Karnataka and Maharashtra are part of the second list of candidates announced by the saffron party.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur is among the two candidates announced from Himachal Pradesh. Thakur will contest from Hamirpur seat.
There are six candidates from Telangana, two from Uttarakhand and one from Tripura in the second list.
