BJP Karnataka President B Y Vijayendra Invited for 2026 Paryaya by Shiroor Seer Vedavardhanateertha in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In a spiritually significant moment, BJP Karnataka State President B Y Vijayendra visited Shiroor Mutt Seer Sri Vedavardhanateertha at Vidyapeetha, Bengaluru, where the Seer is currently observing his 5th Chaturmasya.

During the visit, Sri Vedavardhanateertha Swamiji, the future Paryaya Peetadhipathi, extended a formal invitation to Vijayendra for the upcoming Paryaya Mahotsava, scheduled for January 18, 2026, in Udupi Sri Krishna Matha.

The Seer also shared his upcoming Paryaya initiatives, emphasizing the importance of Vedic tradition protection, and announced a two-year-long Chaturveda Parayana to be held continuously at the Krishna Matha. This initiative aims to support and promote Vedic scholars and scriptural learning during his tenure.

Prominent attendees at the event included Shrisha Bhat Kadekar, administrator of the Mutt, Jayanagar MLA Ramamurthy, Basavanagudi MLA Ravi Subramanya, and former Corporator Sangati Venkatesh.
