Bengaluru Woman Arrested for Husband’s Death After Domestic Fight, Tried to Mislead Police with Fake Narrative

Date:

Bengaluru, July 4, 2025: In a shocking incident, a woman has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly murdering her husband following a domestic dispute. The accused, Shruti, was taken into custody by the Suddguntepalya police after investigators uncovered inconsistencies in her version of events.

According to police sources, Shruti’s husband, Bhaskar, was involved in an alleged extramarital affair with a domestic worker, which had been a recurring cause of conflict in the couple’s relationship. On the day of the incident, a heated argument broke out, during which Shruti reportedly struck Bhaskar on the face, leading to his death on the spot.

Following the incident, Shruti allegedly attempted to mislead the authorities by claiming that her husband had collapsed in the bathroom after consuming alcohol. She stated she bathed him and laid him down, only to later discover he was unresponsive.

However, based on the medical findings and contradictions in her statement, the police suspected foul play and arrested Shruti. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway to determine the full sequence of events.
