BENGALURU:
On Monday, a day before Bengaluru Urban goes into a week’s lockdown mode, the state capital reported 1,315 fresh Covid cases and 47 deaths out of the state’s 2,738 new cases and 73 deaths.
The overall state tally has swollen to 41,581 cases, inclusive of 16,248 people discharged and total deaths of 757.
The Health and Family Welfare Department bulletin put the active cases in Bengaluru at 15,052 — more than half of the state’ss 24,572 active cases.
