Children were trafficked to Karnataka for forced labour
BENGALURU:
The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Bengaluru Division, has rescued 20 trafficked children (17 boys and 3 girls) and arrested the traffickers involved over the past seven days under ‘Operation Nanhe Farishte’. Ms P Anusha, Sub-Inspector, led the operation. The children were rescued from various stations like KSR Bengaluru, Yelahanka and Yeshvantpur.

The children were being trafficked from various states like Bihar, Assam, West Bengal and Rajasthan. It is understood that the children were being trafficked for the purpose of forced labour. Further investigation is in progress.
