BENGALURU/MANDYA: In a tragic incident on the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway, a car collided with an Airavat bus, resulting in the death of four family members at the same location in Mandya on Thursday.
The victims have been identified as Satyananda Raje Urs (51) and his wife Nishchita (45), as well as Chandru (62) and his wife Suvedini Rani (50).
The accident occurred on the route from Bengaluru to Mysore, where the car was completely wrecked due to the impact of the bus collision.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Mandya rural police station, and the Southern Range DIG Boralingaiah and SP Mallickarjun Baladandi visited the scene to conduct an investigation.
