Bengaluru: Man kills live-in partner by battering her head with pressure cooker

A man killed his live-in partner by battering her head with a pressure cooker in the city on Saturday night. The incident took place late at night at New Mico Layout in Begur.

The deceased has been identified as Deva (24) while the accused is Vaishnav (24). The duo hails from Kerala and had been in a live-in relationship for the past two years.

Recently, the accused’s live-in partner Deva allegedly got into an affair with another man. Following this, she and Vaishnav were frequently quarreling over this issue. On Saturday night too, there was a commotion over the same issue. At this time, Vaishnav battered Deva on the head with a pressure cooker at their home.

The woman died on the spot due to severe bleeding after the attack. The Mico Layout police have arrested the accused. A case has been registered in this regard.
