Grievances on drinking water, cleanliness, street lights should get top priority: Gaurav Gupta
BENGALURU:
To address the grievances of citizens, the BBMP Chief Commissioner has directed holding of grievance redressal meetings in all 8 zones of BBMP, to be held weekly by zonal and joint commissioners. The date, time and venue of the meetings should be announced in advance, while suggestions of citizens should be noted and their participation should be ensured, he said.
Other departments like Bescom and the police, as well as NGO and RWA representatives, should be invited to these meetings, Gaurav Gupta said.
Issues like drinking water, cleanliness and street lights should get top priority at these meetings which will be headed by special commissioners, Gupta said.
