From Jan 1, safari at Bengaluru’s Bannerghatta zoo to get costlier
BENGALURU:
With the birth of an elephant calf, the number of tuskers in Bannerghatta Biological Park has gone up to 24.
Park executive director Vanishree Vipin Singh said 12-year-old Roopa gave birth to the male  calf early in the morning on Sunday. She had given birth to a female calf, Gowri, on December 21, 2016. Both mother and newborn are doing well. Â
