Ashoka is now Bengaluru’s Covid-19 Minister

Revenue Minister R Ashoka takes over as Covid-19 minister for Bengaluru city.

The responsibility of Covid-19 minister was with Medical Education minister Dr K Sudhakar. The minister is currently under self home quarantine after his father, wife, daughter and a helper at home were infected with Covid-19.

Ashoka announced this while tweeting it at 11.10pm. “The Covid-19 problem is increasing day-by-day in Bengaluru and I am now in-charge of Covid-19. I thank chief minister BS Yediyurapppa for giving me an opportunity,” tweet reads.
