All Intl Passengers To Karnataka Will Be In 14-day Quarantine

BENGALURU:

After witnessing its first Covid-19 death, the state health department has decided to quarantine all International passengers arriving in Karnataka for 14 days.

The decision was announced at a meeting held under the chairmanship of the health department’s additional chief secretary Javed Akhtar. The meeting was attended by all consul generals having their offices in Bengaluru.

The aim of the meeting was to disseminate the Covid-19 advisories of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare regarding visa restrictions and address queries raised by the consulates.

At the meeting, Akhtar announced that all International passengers arriving in Karnataka from all Covid-19 affected countries will be strictly home-quarantined for 14 days.
