BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad has indicated that the Sunday lockdown in the city will be more strictly enforced than earlier. The lockdown is already underway as of 9 pm on Saturday and will continue till 5 am on Monday morning.
Prasad tweeted from his official account, “Night curfew on till Monday 5 am. Lockdown will be in effect from 9 pm tonight till 5 am on Monday in Bengaluru. Unless necessary, the public is hereby appealed not to step out or else legal action will be initiated against those who do so.”
