West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has laid out an ambitious goal for her party, the Trinamool Congress (TMC), in the upcoming 2026 assembly elections. She announced that the TMC aims to secure more than 215 out of the 294 seats in the assembly, with a focus on reducing the BJP’s presence.
