Shantinagar MLA N.A. Haris Takes Over as Chairman of Bengaluru Development Authority
BENGALURU:
The newly appointed Shantinagar MLA N.A. Haris took over as the new chairman of the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) on Monday in the presence of Dy CM DK Shivakumar.
Rakesh Singh, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development Department, handed over the authority to MLA Haris. Singh had previously held the position of BDA chairman after the Congress government came to power eight months ago.
Commissioner of BDA, Jayaram, was also present during this occasion.
