Bengaluru, May 29: Property owners within the jurisdiction of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) have only two days left to avail a 5 per cent rebate on property tax payments for the financial year 2026-27, Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao has said.
Appealing to citizens to make use of the concession, Rao urged taxpayers across the five city corporations under the Greater Bengaluru Authority to clear their property tax dues on or before May 31.

The 5 per cent rebate is being offered to property owners who pay their property tax during April and May 2026 in the Central, West, East, South and North City Corporations under the GBA limits.
Officials clarified that no rebate will be available from June 2026 onwards. Citizens have therefore been advised to complete their payments before the deadline to take advantage of the discount.
Property tax can be paid online through the official Greater Bengaluru Authority property tax portal.
Citizens requiring assistance, clarification or information related to property tax payments can contact the GBA helpline at 1533 for support.
The Greater Bengaluru Authority has appealed to all property owners to avoid last-minute delays and complete their payments at the earliest to avail the rebate benefit.
