GBA Schools Record 88.85% SSLC Results; Three Girls Score Above 600 Marks, Six Schools Achieve 100% Pass Rate
Bengaluru: The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has reported an impressive 88.85% pass percentage in the SSLC annual examinations for the academic year 2025–26, highlighting a strong performance by students of civic-run schools.
A total of 2,063 students appeared for the examinations across 34 high schools under the GBA’s municipal education department, of which 1,833 students successfully passed. Notably, 106 students secured distinction, scoring above 85%, reflecting a significant academic achievement.
Six Schools Achieve 100% Results
Six GBA schools recorded a perfect 100% pass rate, bringing pride to the civic body. These include:
- Basavanagudi, Subramanyanagar, and Marappanapalya schools under West Zone
- Cottonpet and Shantinagar schools under Central Zone
- Malleswaram/Mattikere High School under North Zone
Top Performers Shine
Three girl students emerged as top achievers, each scoring above 600 marks out of 625:
- Ganashree S from Bairaveshwaranagar High School (West Zone) secured 611 marks (97.76%), topping the list
- Zara Fatima from Ganganagar High School (North Zone) scored 610 marks (97.60%), securing second place
- Lavanya A from Herohalli High School (West Zone) achieved 605 marks (96.80%), ranking third
Cash Incentives for High Achievers
To encourage academic excellence, the GBA has announced a cash reward of ₹25,000 each for the 106 students who secured distinction.

GBA Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao congratulated all successful students and appreciated the efforts of teachers and school administrations in achieving commendable results.
