Bengaluru/New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a revision in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass, increasing it from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 3,075 for the Financial Year 2026–27. This new fee will take effect from April 1, 2026. The adjustment aligns with the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008. With over 5.6 million users, the FASTag Annual Pass has seen significant adoption among private vehicle owners.
The revised fee applies to eligible non-commercial vehicles equipped with a valid FASTag, allowing access to the Annual Pass facility at approximately 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways. The FASTag Annual Pass streamlines the toll payment process by eliminating the need for frequent recharges, offering a one-time fee payment for a validity period of one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings. This pass is available for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.
Once the one-time fee is paid through the Rajmarg Yatra App or the NHAI website, the annual pass is activated within two hours on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle.
Launched on August 15, 2025, the FASTag Annual Pass has received an overwhelmingly positive response, highlighting its convenience and cost-effective travel options for users of National Highways across the country.
