Bengaluru: Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Chairman Dr. Ram Prasath Manohar has directed officials to ensure there is no shortage of drinking water in the Slum areas during the upcoming summer.
Dr. Manohar inspected the arrangements being made in the Pantharapalya and Nayandanahalli slum areas, assessing the water supply preparations and the installation of water tanks intended for local residents.

During his visit, he spoke with local residents and listened to their concerns. He reassured them, stating, “As directed by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, the board is taking all necessary steps to ensure there are no disruptions in drinking water supply this summer. We will take all precautions to maintain the water supply without any interruptions.”
After the inspection, Manohar instructed BWSSB officials to remain active in the field rather than being limited to office work. He emphasized the need for continuous monitoring of the situation, particularly in the Kolargeri areas, to ensure that residents experience no disruptions in the drinking water supply.
