92 express, 134 passenger trains cancelled

Rly step to conform with PM’s Sunday curfew call

BENGALURU:

In view of Sunday’s ‘janata curfew’, trains originating from South Western Railway on March 22 have been cancelled.

The Railway Board has advised cancellation of all passenger trains originating between 00.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs on 22 March and mail/express trains originating between 04.00 hrs and 22.00 hrs on March 22.

As a result, 92 mail/express trains, including premium trains, and 134 passenger trains originating from SWR stand cancelled.

However, trains which commenced their journey prior to the above-mentioned timelines will run till their destination.
