55-Year-Old Man Apprehended After Attempted Assault on Toddler in Mandya
BENGALURU/MANDYA:
A horrific incident occurred in a village in Mandya district, where a 55-year-old man attempted to assault a three-year-old girl. The perpetrator, Shivanna, a resident of the village, lured the child from a neighboring house where she was playing and brought her to his own home. There, he undressed the innocent child, causing her to cry out in distress.
Hearing the cries, concerned neighbors rushed to Shivanna’s house and forcefully entered, only to find that the accused had managed to escape through the back door. However, the swift action of the community led to the subsequent arrest of the perpetrator by the police.
A formal complaint has been filed with the authorities, and the absconding accused has now been apprehended. The KRS police station has registered a case in relation to this appalling incident.
