BENGALURU:
The government has requisitioned the services of 5 private hospitals in Bengaluru for the treatment of infected policemen. This follows complaints of substandard facilities and care at government hospitals.
The hospitals are Mahaveer Jain Hospital, Vikram Hospital, MS Ramaiah, BGS Global Hospital and St. John’s Hospital.
A PRO and nodal officers have been appointed at each hospital.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai has ordered that all policemen be tested for Covid-19 by June 30.
