BENGALURU:

In an update on Covid-19 prevention measures, the state health and family welfare department said a video conference was held on Thursday with all first-responder hospitals in the state to review their preparations.

It said 40 lines of toll-free helpline 104 have been reserved for Covid-19 related calls.

The bulletin has appealed to all those who have returned from affected countries, or who have had contact with such persons, to remain in home isolation. It stresses personal hygiene like frequent hand washing and use of tissue paper while coughing or sneezing.
