CHIKKABALLAPUR: Three people died while one survived after their car plunged into a roadside ditch near Vatadahosalli in Gouribidanur taluk. It is suspected that the accident occurred late on Thursday night.
The deceased were identified as KPTCL employees Venugopal (34) and Sridhar (35) and Bescom lineman Manjappa (34). It is believed that the car overturned after the driver lost control.
Surprisingly, the survivor was found stuck on a tree in the early hours on Friday. The Gouribidanur Rural police visited the spot and have registered a case.
