One detainee tests positive, 12 cops go into quarantine
BENGALURU:
The JJ Nagar police have arrested 27 persons, including the brother of Padarayanapura corporator Imran Pasha, for violating lockdown orders in the containment zone. They were part of a rally to welcome Pasha back home after he was discharged from a hospital.
One of those arrested has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been shifted to a designated hospital. Following this, as many as 12 cops have gone into home quarantine.
Imran Pasha was admitted to a designated Covid hospital after he tested positive, and was discharged when he retested negative. His supporters violated lockdown orders by organising a rally in his support.
