BENGALURU:

Two new Covid-19 related fatalities have occurred in Bengaluru, according to sources.

A 61-year-old woman from Agrahara Dasarahalli has died after failing to respond to treatment. Her relatives had admitted her to a private hospital when she fell ill, and while there she tested positive for the coronavirus.

She died 8 days after the diagnosis, and 4 of her contacts have also tested positive for Covid-19.

In another case, the report of a 57-year-old woman from Mahalakshmi Layout, who had died earlier, came positive on Sunday. The family had conducted her funeral even before the report came.
